You would think that along with winter’s chill there might be some easing of the
entertainment, events and hot happenings which have caused 2006 to fly by
quicker than the pages of a cartoon calendar depicting the passage of time. Not a
chance my friend. It’s a good thing too. If there wasn’t anything worthwhile
going on there wouldn’t be any need for the Insider. Whew! Between the variety
of shows at Atlantic City’s famed Boardwalk Hall, the Atlantic City Convention
Center, entertainment at Atlantic City’s casino’s, and performances at local theatres,
the Atlantic City area, as we wrote last month, is now officially an all-yearround

January 15th • Absecon Lighthouse -
It’s only 150 years young and it’s the
third tallest lighthouse in the USA, so
officials with the Absecon Lighthouse
Association decided to celebrate the
occasion over the entire year. The big
bash kicks off on Monday, January 15th
at 2pm with the unveiling of the “Topsecret”
commemorative t-shirt, followed
by a big party with giveaways
and characters from AC’s glorious history.

planned throughout the rest of the year
to further enhance the milestone celebration.

Boardwalk Hall has just been named the
largest grossing arena of its size in the
world for the second straight year by
Billboard Magazine. While Boardwalk
Hall plays host to some of the biggest
names in show business today, and as a

Convention Center has quietly added
