Get ready to Rocket...
The Speedboat makes a return to the city that first launched this
attraction seventy five years ago...
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Rick Riccioti and his wife Christy have brought the
Speedboat ride back to the city that gave birth to the thrill ride over seventy five
years ago. Some of you reading this may remember the Miss Atlantic City, and of
course, the Miss Atlantic City II. The Rocket is a souped up version of the speedboats
of yore with a top speed capability of over 60 MPH. Hang on to your
britches baby. The attraction is docked and operates out of Historic Gardner’s
Basin in Atlantic City. The Basin features a whole slew of new and very cool
stuff to do. Atlantic City Cruises has been operating there for the past eight
years and has brought the thrill of
Dolphin Watching to kids of all ages.
He’s since added Parasailing, and also
has a daily cocktail cruise. Both the
Rocket and Atlantic City Cruises are
running on weekend schedules ‘til the
season gets in full swing. They are
available for private parties and charters,
and AC Cruises is able to offer
some fabulous catering and entertainment
options to put an exclamation
point on any affair. For more information
call the Rocket at (609) 344-
