Many free publications claim they do a lot of things. Dan Klein's South Jersey Insider Magazine is the only one that delivers Print run verification... Click here
The next time a "Free Publication" representative tells you about the number of printed copies, distribution, etc.
Tell 'em to prove it!
As an advertiser you're paying for the number of printed copies. That's what advertising rates are based on. Many free publications inflate, or downright lie, about their actual printed copy number in order to justify their rates to advertisers, and make their publications seem bigger than they are. At the South Jersey Insider, we can't let that go unchallenged. So, as I stated above, the next time a rep tells you the number of copies they print, tell 'em to prove it!
If it is what they say, they should be happy to comply, if not, I recommend you tell them
good-bye.

December 2007/January 2008
View the rest of Dan Klein's South Jersey Insider Magazine
What’s on the plate in 2008...
Well, if it’s the plate of Atlantic City development we’re talking about, you couldn’t get
anymore on it if you tried. “Piled high” is a term we would use to describe the state of
developmental affairs in Atlantic City for 2008. Very high. Of course, there’s a lot of other
stuff that goes on in Atlantic City that could be piled into mountains, but that's a story for
another day. This issue is all about what’s ahead developmentally in the city that’s
always turned on, and Publisher Dan Klein, kicks it off as usual on page 6. Jack
Diamond, our lovable CasinoInsider, tackles casino development for 2008 beginning
on page 34. Included in his list of openings in 2008 is, of course, the much anticipated
Water Club Hotel & Spa at Borgata. Notice we didn’t include the term casino in the
title. That’s because there isn’t one as the newest, most luxurious addition to the
Borgata “bang” will operate as an entirely separate entity, but with all of Borgata’s
amenities, including, of course, its casino. The “piece de resistance” for the project is
the indoor pool on the 28th floor that goes right to the outside glass wall. Talk about your
proverbial “view To Die For.” Over at Boardwalk Hall it’s one big show after another
starting with Hannah Montana and Milley Cyrus on January 5th, to Celine Dion on
September 20th. Mixed in between are R. Kelly, Van Halen, Keith Urban and Carrie
Underwood, Dancing With the Stars, and The Mummer's “Show of Shows”... Of
course, this entire issue is devoted to everything that is worth doing today, tomorrow,
next week, next month as well as months down the road.

Jersey Insider Magazine, SJI for

A BUCKET OF BALLS: $5
A HALF HOUR LESSON WITH
STACY BUNKER: $45
THE ABILITY TO PRACTICE
IN THE RAIN OR SNOW:
PRICELESS!
The words, driving range, only
come to mind as you load your clubs in
your car at home. Once you arrive at
the Olde Masters Golf Center in Egg
Harbor Township you hesitate for just a
moment to take in this beautiful facility.
Practice takes on a whole new meaning
in this upscale, unique golf center!
The pro shop is well stocked
with everything you could want. I had
the opportunity to be out there recently,
and ladies you need to go out and see
the clothes! Buy a bucket of balls, and,
if the weather is nice, go upstairs to the
second level of the teeing area - WOW!
The view of the landing area is remarkable.
You will think you are hitting at a
private club. The turf (which is synthetic,
but you would never know it) stretches
over 525,000 square feet. The color
contrasts to differentiate the fairways
from the greens. If the weather is
inclement go downstairs; 24 of the 96
hitting stations are covered and heated.
If you need some help with your game,
Stacy Bunker is on staff as Director of
Golf. She has been a local favorite
teaching professional for over 15 years!
There's also an area where the teaching
staff gives lessons with the aid of
high tech video equipment.
The miniature golf course,
which you will see when you drive in
would be a perfect place for a team
building activity during a company tournament.
The golf activities are endless
at this Bob Thatcher owned Center.
Bring the kids for a game of mini golf,
host an organization networking party
with refreshments in the café, or join
some friends for an evening of practice
on the tees or terrific short game area.
Give the Olde Masters Golf
Center a call at (609) 272-2880 for
more information, or directions. Your
caddie will be glad you did!
